Can someone please tell me how "AI" made it into that? Seriously I can't fathom the idea. You want trustworthy, accurate information about measurable, objective quantities, why is AI involved?
- tuwtuwtuwtuw 2y agoI checked 5 other articles on this topic, and none of them mentioned AI. They did mention blockchain though. It could be that the article author misunderstood it (both terms can probably appear in the buzzword lexicon). With that said, I work on processes where there are strong requirements that data is correct, and we still use a lot of machine learning. As an example, if Volvo use OCR to extract information from paper documents related to origin of materials they can put "Comes with AI"-stamp on it and move on. I don't think there are many large complex system where machine learning can't be of some use. Even if you have an old school audit process, you could use machine learning algorithms to double-check audit reports, for example.
- constantcrying 2y agoSure, but "AI based"?
- tuwtuwtuwtuw 2y agoI agree, that's odd. I'm betting article author misunderstanding or marketing team eager to add AI wherever there's a slight chance.
