Mozilla Firefox can now secure access to passwords with device credentials
- josephcsible 2y agoThis seems like snake oil/security theater to me. If someone is sitting in front of your unlocked computer and you don't have a master password set, aren't there a ton of ways to steal your saved passwords despite this, e.g., going to the site and then using the developer tools to extract the password after it fills it, copying the entire profile and uploading it somewhere, or running a custom build of Firefox with this check removed?
