Bacteria can be incredibly nasty but I would guess they are less likely to cause a pandemic than viruses.

Bacteria can be incredibly nasty but I would guess they are less likely to cause a pandemic than viruses.
- echelon 2y agoIt's less likely, but bacteria do cause pandemics. Yersinia pestis, the most well-known example. Or Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which is still a major cause of death today. Or even parasites, such as plasmodium.
