Note the agonizing over memory. They were targeting a 16 MB machine.
We have the same problem. Ever try running linux on a 4GB machine? It naturally desires 16 GB nowdays.
- 1oooqooq 2y agoLinux is fine with lower ram. but it will obviously use more for caching. and nobody truly bought sgi machines with 16mb ram. not even pizza boxes.
