- specialist 2y agoInteresting take. Supporting your view is the retrospective claim: Y2K justified huge spending, and the resulting dotcom bubble, resulted in a much needed economy-wide IT refresh. FWIW, I'm fine with burning bales of VC cash to upgrade everyone's infra. Which "AI" does in a way that "crypto" didn't.
