Sam Harris' podcast, "Final Thoughts on Free Will" finally pushed me over the edge into believing that we don't have free will in the way we seem to want to. In particular the argument that if you really examine your own lived, conscious experience that you call free will, you'll find it isn't as free as you thought. Random/stochastic processes don't generate free will, they just add noise to a deterministic system.
Just as importantly, I'm not sure that it really matters.
