You might want to mention which country you're in. In some countries reasons need to be given for dismissal. In some countries you can be dismissed without cause. In some countries when you are dismissed without cause you are eligible for more benefits than if you resign.

- cjbprime 2y agoIs your employment at-will, then? If it is, you can be asked to leave for any reason as long as it is not a legally protected one (like discrimination). What does it mean to "fight" the termination?
- 0xtaj 2y agoI was able to drag details out of HR, and I would have some significant grounds for a discrimination suit.
