Who will be able to afford a robot? Fairly wealthy and tech enthusiasts individuals are the most likely to buy one, a nitch market. Which does not translate to billions in profits. Even if it does grow, it's going to be decades before we see a 30T Tesla market cap. He hyped Tesla into survival before. Maybe he can do it again.

Your barista, hair dresser, mechanic, plumber, sparky, builder, bodyguard .. eventually one robot can probably do all of those jobs and more. Why would the AI revolution stop with knowledge workers?
- bamboozled 2y agoBecause if we have such intelligent capable robots, there is very, very little reason to suggest they'd want to cut your hair.
