The standard library is open source now. I'm not convinced this is going to be a giant rug pull in the future.

- OutOfHere 2y agoI will be happy to look at the language when it is fully open, but even so, I don't understand how Modular will then make money.
- MohamedMabrouk 2y agoMojo the language is free to use and probably will be open sourced. The money maker for modular is MAX which is an AI compiler written in mojo where they would charge for its use in model inference in the cloud on AWS .. etc. Modern programming languages are so vast and complex to be developed for profit and in closed source in perpetuity.
