In that case, is the "first slide" even that important?
- inhumantsar 2y agoit's not that it's not important, it's just not that engaging. Most of the time there's a minute or two where the first slide is up but everyone is still getting settled. The less engaging info can be on that first slide and when the talk starts you can skip ahead to the second slide without discussing that first one.
