"It Could Be Worse" is the absolute worst apologist argument, for anything. Please never excuse something bad, because you can imagine, or see somewhere else something even worse.
- akira2501 2y agoIt's not apologia. It's pointing out that this "planet ending doom and gloom" meme driven attitude is not well aligned to the problem being discussed. I would personally attempt to avoid using language that people could interpret as moral bullying.
