- beardyw 2y agoAccident and Emergency (no room)
- bookofjoe 2y agoA longtime source of puzzlement for me: why pose this question here in the hope of getting an answer when you can ask/type it into Google and instantly get one? Not being snarky; I finally realized that for some people, an exchange with a real person here is superior to an interaction with an AI.
- Bostonian 2y agoFor me in the U.S., googling "A&E" gave A & E Network, a cable channel. I do not see "accident" on the first page of links.
- bookofjoe 2y agoYes! I'm also in the U.S. and just had the identical experience. Scrolling down the page a bit I came to this: People also ask What does A&E stand for? I clicked and got this: abbreviation for Accident and Emergency: the part of a hospital where people go when they are sick or injured and need treatment quickly. Jun 5, 2024
- bookofjoe 2y agoP.S. "Financial quant" FTW!
- ThrowawayR2 2y agoThat's a pretty lackadaisical effort. Googling "A&E acronym", "meaning of A&E", "A&E medication", or even ""A&E ozempic" puts one on the right track immediately. We are all hackers here, right?
