Ask HN: Why did doi.org links stop redirecting?
I have noticed this yesterday. If you try to get to any research by clicking a link, it's dead. Nonetheless, www.doi.org is online (of course, the query box at the bottom of their site is useless). No redirection is available. What could be wrong?..
- sevenseventen 2y agoIt appears to be working fine on https://dx.crossref.org https://dx.crossref.org 's lookup. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.hcc.2024.100211 https://doi.org/10.1016/j.hcc.2024.100211 works fine. What links are you clicking on that _don't_ work? You may be having a problem with resolving DOI's through an institutional link resolver, or with a browser plugin that's sending your DOI links through the link resolver.
