Voting with your wallet only works in a free and fair market. As for entitlement, no one can force you to watch an ad, ergo I can block them. If monetizing is such a dilemma they have a dozen other methods that are much more reliable. I can't imagine this is anything other than corporate greed, and shaming users for circumventing commercials is just shifting the blame.
