I'm interested on how was your experience with Iced, and why you picked it over the other GUI options in Rust.

  The experience has been good overall, with the only challenges being the lack of documentation and optimization that comes with a new project. It is not optimized for performance, which they have acknowledged. It looks like they're making significant changes and will likely address this soon. I chose iced primarily because it kept popping up when I searched for libraries to use, and System76 is using it for their CosmicDE (although I'm sure they've added a ton to the version they're using). The Elm architecture is new to me, but coming from React, I could wrap my head around it pretty easily.
