why shouldn't Facebook and Apple?
- dasmoth 14y agoKeyhole wrote the predecessor to the Google Earth software, but while it's a great name for an imagery company, they don't run satellites themselves. Google did pay for a half share in GeoEye-1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeoEye-1 http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GeoEye-1) and have exclusive commercial access.
