Every once in a while an article seems to come out about declining sperm count. Or healthy count.
I don’t have the knowledge to dispute that claim.
But a curiosity I have, how long do we actually have data for to be able to accurately say one way or another? This article mentions 40 years but I would assume (if I am reading this right) that as we go farther back the sample size is smaller?
Are we also properly accounting for differences in technology to store and measure?
Even if all equal, 40 years with limited sample size without exploring other genetic differences seems limited?
Even this article that seems to try to say all those studies are wrong, to me glosses over something important.
Am I missing something for this to not matter?
