I remember listening to a German podcast about this kind of transport. It's super interesting how much planning is needed before such a transport. Talk to different police departments, check weight limits of roads, corner radius, plan to disassemble some obstacles. Huge effort.
- mensetmanusman 2y agoWhen this is done internationally, they even have to consider the orientation of the object as it is put onto boat and taken off due to available leverage points on cranes and also how it can fit while swinging. One of our equipment barely fit through an entryway and required half-inch steel dowels to be put on the ground so it could roll for part of its journey.
