- avmich 2y agoThat's not worrying - the tariffs can be increased. What's more worrying, IMHO, is that EU should have stimulus and means to improve their own competitiveness.
- alephnerd 2y agoThe EU does have one - it's called the EU Green Deal [0] The EU was very slow with implementation due to COVID, but with the US's passage of the IRA in 2023, disbursements rapidly sped up. Also, it's prioritizing building green infrastructure first - not EVs - because unlike similar sized economies, much of Europe fell behind on renewables investments in the 2010s.
