It is NOT GDPR compliant. Consent is the cornerstone of GDPR, every major website made changes to their interface and updated the "Accept Cookies" dialog for this same reason.
These guys on the other hand, sneakily injected telemetry in the code which could never have come to light had the OP not raised this issue on github tracker. How can this ever be GDPR compliant?
- poikroequ 2y agoI'm not commenting on whether or not it's GDPR compliant. They're the ones who keep making that claim. Even if it were true, I'm saying that may not be good enough. Users clearly aren't happy and their stubborn response to it all is discouraging, to say the least.
