Ask HN: Why are Google Groups links banned from HN?
Any posts that link to groups.google.com (https://news.ycombinator.com/from?site=groups.google.com) seem to go dead immediately.
- skilled 2y agoEasy spam target. Better to write a blog post if you find something interesting, or if it’s research posted on there then it is best to email mods and make a case for the submission. Users can also vouch for submissions, so interesting stuff should still get picked up.
