EU expected to impose import tariffs on Chinese electric vehicles
- mytailorisrich 2y agoI believe that the Chinese-made EVs most imported in the EU are currently Teslas. But reading the article, the tariffs will not really target Chinese-made EVs in general but specific brands, which I highly suspect, will not include European manufacturers with factories in China (Some BMW EVs are made in China) or Tesla. To me this undermines the narrative a bit... Ultimately I think the key is that European manufacturers have dropped the ball on EVs.
