First of all, thank you. The difference is in simplicity. You just need to add a domain and nothing else. Healthcheck works right out of the box. As a software engineer, I like many settings in domain-monitor. But as a regular customer (SEO specialist, busy founder/domain owner) who just wants to add a domain name, unfortunately, I can't do it without manually adding a notification channel, domain, and monitoring settings. Another difference is that with the free plan, you can do more (compared to domain-monitor.io, for example). You can be notified about SSL expiration, add more domains, etc. Behind kit.domains, there are just two people (me – a software developer, and my wife – a marketing specialist). Indie product -> less bureaucracy -> quicker features. A few cool features like domain cost optimization and monitoring Domain Authority are coming soon.
