I use caffeinate all the time. What's wrong with it?

  When sleep is supposedly disabled by caffeinate, closing the lid still puts my laptop to sleep. It's been like that as since I first tried it, several years ago. But your comment inspired me to Google anew and... I guess it was always intended to only kind of disable sleep?
