email is such an annoying standard for storage. i think i'd prefer a simple local SQLLite db with flat HTML files. You could use Next.js and output as 'standalone' if you wanna use React to generate the HTML
- noman-land 2y agoIf you sync with Thunderbird, it puts all your emails into SQLite dbs that you can peruse.
- immibis 2y agoAny sufficiently complicated network program contains an ad hoc, informally-specified, bug-ridden, slow implementation of half of email or Usenet.
