- Twirrim 2y agoThe US is not majority rule, assume you're talking about the US. Between Gerrymandering and the First Past the Post system, it's really not that uncommon for minority rule. The easiest example of that being the 2016 Presidential election, where Trump lost the popular vote by just over 2%.
