The South Pole is within easy reach though, why wouldn't a colony on it get targeted as well?
- once_inc 2y agoIf there is a self-sufficient colony there, and it consists of people from a single nation, it will be targeted. Only a non-political, mixed-heritage colony of scientists and farmers might be overlooked.
- ttyprintk 2y agoAs of 1964, with the Mariner launches, the same rocket would be used to target either Antarctica or Mars.
