This makes me wonder if it is a good idea investing in Rust now so that I can get good in one or two years and switch to it full time.
The job market is lagging behind the hype. I don't see many positions where Rust is used full time, especially if I don't want to work with crypto / blockchain.
- arwhatever 2y agoIt’s interesting comparing the list of companies using Rust in the article, to the job listings that one sees in the wild. It makes me suspect that most other-than-blockchain roles must be going to personal networks and referrals, rather than via public job listings.
