Capitalism is one of the most important innovations. Thanks to this system, talented people not born into royalty or the upper class have the ability to change the world by convincing people with lots of capital to invest in their ideas. Figures like Sam Altman and OpenAI with ChatGPT, Steve Jobs and Apple with the iPhone, Zuckerberg and Meta with their social media platforms, and Elon Musk with SpaceX and his other endeavors exemplify this.
If CERN weren’t controlled by governments and their bureaucracy, and instead had someone like Elon running it, it would've been much more successful.

We believe in asking big questions and providing sustained support to researchers working to unravel the mysteries of the universe. * https://www.simonsfoundation.org/about/ https://www.simonsfoundation.org/about/ > Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics (PI, Perimeter, PITP) is an independent research centre in foundational theoretical physics located in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. It was founded in 1999.[2] The institute's founding and major benefactor is Canadian entrepreneur and philanthropist Mike Lazaridis.[3] * https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perimeter_Institute_for_Theoretical_Physics https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Perimeter_Institute_for_Theore... Would Musk handing over $17B for this instead of $42B for Twitter perhaps been better for humanity?
