Yeah, but sadd colors [1] have been preferred by Puritans for hundreds of years.
Puritan-descended cultures are today still one of the most dominant cultural forces in America. And with the persistent preference for sadd, it seems less like a trend and more like a deeply-embedded cultural preference.

- antisthenes 2y agoThe swatches section on that page depicts way more colors than are available in a typical parking lot. If those colors were actually available in new vehicles, then there would be no article about the variety decline.
