It seems like colors are starting to come back. GM, Ford and Toyota have begun offering more bright/playful colors on their cars in recent years. For a while now I think people have been afraid to get a "weird" color not only because of resale value but also because people don't want their choice of car to reflect poorly on them in their eyes of others. White/grey/silver/black have been the "safe" choices for a long time, but I think now we're starting to see that change to them being the "boring" colors, and I think that will help fuel the shift to colorful cars returning.
