It would be great if this could be extended with air pollution data. Combined with weather data like wind speed and wind direction, the data could be of great use in forecasting for example air pollution from wildfires. There are some platforms for air pollution like OpenAQ [1] or sensor.community [2] but as far as I know none really has such an open API like weather.gov and allows individual contributions.
