Not a jet. The T-34 is a propeller aircraft, used for training.
- ls612 2y agoMy bad my mind substituted in T-38 I thought he was flying an old jet trainer not a turboprop.
- hollerith 2y agoThe important distinction is not whether it has a propeller, but rather the powerplant: is it a reciprocating engine or a gas turbine? I'm going to go out on a limb a little and say that every single warplane in the US military has a gas turbine engine. Some gas turbines drive a propeller (turboprop).
