Offline and anonymity has been gone for decades and no one seems to care. Quite literally not many people even cared when the offline version was taken away. Where ever you go and what you do is tracked constantly by a network of state-owned CCTV cameras. You're required to have a license plate on your vehicle that can easily track where it is at any given time. Banking institutions track your financial matters. These are just a tiny set of examples.
I think worrying about online and anonymity via IP addresses seems to be hand waving and shadow puppets. It's the typical "on an iPhone" mentality. As if the online and offline worlds are completely separate and cannot be governed by the same core principles. So if you care about an individual's right to be anonymous fight for the offline space because that's where it has been utterly and completely destroyed for decades and that's where it needs to be reclaimed.
