Would you not consider LLMs as a part of machine learning?
- Cyclone_ 2y agoI'd say deep learning is a subset of machine learning, and LLMs are a subset of deep learning.
- chudi 2y agoProbably it's because we are not training them anymore and just using with prompts. Seems like more of a swe regular type of job
- aulin 2y agoexcept regular swe is way more fun than writing prompts

- uoaei 2y agoThere is a vanishingly small percentage of people actually working on the design and training of LLMs vs all those who call themselves "AI engineers" who are just hitting APIs.
