- rurban 2y agoWhat about a prime-zip then? You just need the offset and length of any sequence of numbers. Also as impractical as this one
- IcePic 2y agoThat is not the same. This is just "easier to compress text if we have a humungous DB to reference from". Drawing digits out of mathematical sequences (like digits of pi or whatever) is a net loss since it will take more bits to point at the correct place than the input data to begin with, apart from the computational cost.
