It’s quite common to redirect water sources like this. If the waterfall naturally existed in the same spot before, I don’t see what the problem is.

- bguebert 2y agoNiagara Falls has been overhauled before too. The water was diverted a while back so it could be redirected for power generation and they control how much goes over the falls and they schedule it so it looks nice during daylight/high-tourist hours.
