Not Starlink's job correct, but the wealthy altruist who donated it. Would it be ok for a wealthy altruist to give other potentially dangerous and addictive things all at once with no ramp up period?
I think it's fine to let them slowly get into watching Pornhub and using TikTok but it isn't very nice to just throw them into the deep end and say swim! How about internet scams too. With no experience they are sitting ducks for emails from a wealthy king that just needs money to unlock the funds.
- talldayo 2y agoOh no, internet scams! What if one of them loses their 12 year old World of Warcraft account, or their roughly $12 USD in unbanked currency! This is like worrying about Indian villages getting power because they might electrocute themselves. There are bigger fish to fry and you are absolutely being exploited by outrage pornography.
