I’ve been traveling for the past year and meeting so many Israelis and Russians who are terrified of their citizenship being revealed in hostels and bars and other places travelers congregate. It’s a shame to see people demonized for the choices of their governments. I suppose we can’t see people as persons, only as disindividualized tribal members carrying the seed of their leaders’ ideology.
