When Crew Dragon first launched back in 2020 it was news -- i.e. it was literally NEW. They were the first people to launch into space from the US since the shuttle retired.
Crew Dragon last launched in March, and I certainly didn't see anything about it, it's business as usual.
- slimebot80 2y agoNot my point. Both are relevant to people and only one is considered "news".
- chpatrick 2y agoIt's certainly less newsworthy to repeat a similar feat years later.
- ta1243 2y agoNews is literally what's new. A new A350 flew from Qatar to London today. The first time the A350 flew it was news. Today it's not.
