This is entirely that false belief I was trying to point out here. I'm not an operations guy, I'm an engineer. I spent a few hours a day for a few days and came up with replayable, fully-configured systems. If this were a full-time gig, I'd have had that done in the first 24 hours. It's not hard to configure services in this day and age. The internet is a wonderful resource for every problem you can ever imagine, and with things like Chef and Puppet becoming so mainstream, you can piggyback off of the work of many other, much more versed players in the game.
