- joshstrange 2y agoSo after all that talk of “hardware is nice and solid but they are just a thin layer over OpenAI and it takes too long to get a response” it turns out the hardware was crap and their services suck/are slow, cool… That launch video was so weird, best example of “people smelling their own farts” I’ve ever seen. That coupled with a level of, as it turns out, completely unearned smugness and arrogance. I liked the overall pitch of the device then I watched their launch video and was completely turned off.
