- thesurlydev 2y agoIn all contexts. Negotiate for higher salary, price on a car, etc. It never hurts to ask for a better deal.
- paulcole 2y agoI can’t find it now but there was some guy who asked for a discount every time he made a purchase for like a year. He said it worked way more often than you’d think and that you just have to get over the self-consciousness of asking.

- paulcole 2y agoYeah, I think you’ve got it. Either you buy it or go to a different store. I’m pretty sure it was part of the book “Rejection Proof: How I Beat Fear and Became Invincible Through 100 Days of Rejection” by Jia Jiang.
