- cpach 2y agoYeah, IMHO that’s one of the funniest and best computer games ever. For those who haven’t played it, I can warmly recommend it.
- mlyle 2y agoI assign it as homework in my microeconomics class.
- ben_bai 2y agoit's like 6h when you know what you are doing :-)
- cpach 2y agoCool! How do the students react? :)
- mlyle 2y agoGenerally the whole senior class gets addicted to it; other faculty wonder about what's up with this paperclip game... maybe about a third of students take it not just through "monopoly" (the assignment) but to the very end. So much of what we talk about in micro is in there; price and profit maximization; market power and monopoly; game theory; production possibilities increasing through technology; etc.
- CobrastanJorji 2y agoThere must be some point before the game ends where it must surely transition to macroeconomics homework.
- tomcam 2y agoDeep cut
- contingencies 2y agoFirst clip's free: An historical drama new to Netflix exploring a parallel historical reality in which all socialist revolutions are pre-empted with funding and covert support by agents of a shady dynasty of paperclip industrialists.
- tomcam 2y agoWell I'm sold!
