Thanks for sharing. I especially liked the leaving tasks 90% done. This is motivation for someone who has 1000 unfinished side projects to finish one tomorrow :

- alex_suzuki 2y agoI found that one interesting too. I do something similar but different: I keep a bunch of “warmup tasks” around, basically easy, low-risk (usually coding) tasks that are 90% likely to be quick motivational boosts to get started in the morning. NGL this has occasionally backfired and something simple turned out to be not so simple at all :-)

Before I know it, the thing that was 90% complete is now 60% complete.

Yeah, this one works incredibly well for me as well, and wasn't at all obvious until I saw it for the first time a few years ago.
