Sort of - basically prevent outside snooping and slow down someone trying to break in. I don't know of too many that claim they also are meant to survive attempts to break in as long as a bank vault.
Frankly I'm surprised the method wasn't simply knocking on the door and saying "Hey, I forgot my badge/key/code, can you let me in?"
- PaulHoule 2y agoTechniques where you can steal information without leaving any physical evidence are preferred. If you smash down a door people will know you did it. Even if you pick a lock you could leave scratches so you might prefer to make a duplicate key if you can. There was that time I got an ex-submariner to pick a lock open for me and my crew and we got inside and checked out a certain space but we could not get the lock picked shut so the next day the person who had locked the door for the night got in trouble for not locking the door.
