I think C will "be around" like COBOL in 50 years given its footguns despite its ubiquity today.
Not sure about SQL and Javascript though; successor options are way less clear.
- collyw 2y agoDoes AI do COBOL yet? Maybe that's where all the jobs will be in a decade. It's not like there are a ton of blog posts about how to do stuff in COBOL to train it on.
