I think you're talking about your personal machines and this author is talking about data centres. If there's never any memory pressure in your data centre you're wasting money on RAM.
- rini17 2y agoThe article does not mention anything like that. And even in DCs, overoptimizing the memory pressures carries the risk of latency spikes or worse.
