Clean Code Means Good Code: The Horrible Performance Debate
- JoeAltmaier 2y agoDon't believe it. He gives some suspicious performance statistics but it had to have the optimizer turned off to be that bad. Anyway, 'clean' meant straightforward, readable, obvious. He says 'OOP is nowhere in there'. Well, neither is any other technique. Because you use your art, whatever model it is, to make things readable, obvious. As best you can, with your skills and experience. Somebody with little experience can mess up anything.
