Often suspicious of people using encryption! Muppet! I use encryption every day with HTTPS, signal messenger. Sessions, tutanota, SimpleX, Linux, lineage (best I can do with android). I do not make contact with anyone who refused to respect my privacy. If they dont use those tools I dont engage with or speak with them unless it is in private one to one space. I certainly will not ever use facebook, or whatsapp as a means to chat with those I love. What is suspicious about that? Encryption for me is confidentiality. I dont want Anyone and I mean Anyone listen to, recording, or monitoring my private conversations with my family, children, colleagues and friends. Confidentiality is at the core of all human and professional interractions, without it there is no trust.
